i like this,
colleged work into faces,
the painted strokes.

you brought the yellow down for a shadow like quality,
but maybe some of that red too somewhere in the faces.
help, aid in the eye movement, if that made sense

the yellow was mostly to distinguish between the two figures but i think i could have used it a little better. thankyou for the thoughts and for making me think about it. i think knoticing flaws in your work alows you to improve.

As a fellow collager, i was really impressed by your mixed-media ability. I use a lot of newspaper, but somehow it usually comes out flat, but this is a great use of it.

the key to depth in colloge work is contrast. at least that's what i think. i like using the printed pages to create contrast with the smooth texture of the paint. try it, i think you might enjoy it.:)

Yes, this is cool... enigmatic too, I have to admit that at least to me, interpretation doesn't come easy... will have to think about it a while. The mix of working techniques makes it very intriguing and unusual... great work :)

Guess I missed something here due to one of my absences from DA... what exactly is this project (a portfolio I take it from the above comment, but what for...? For art college, or generally, etc.?)
